Small Business Social Responsibility
Guysten's mission extends beyond the customers we serve. We understand that our success isn't measured solely by our products, but also by our efforts to make our world better. Our small business social responsibility (SBSR) mission is to empower men of color entrepreneurs and the communities they live in. A percentage of every product sold at Guysten will be used to aid underserved Men of Color entrepreneurs.
Community Facts
Men of color are the slowest growing segment of entrepreneurs in the U.S. Overall, they have the lowest life expediencies; African-American and Latino males are six times more likely to be victims of murder; American Indian males have the highest suicide rates; and African-American men are more likely to be incarcerated, unemployed and exposed to more childhood adversity. Men born to low-income parents are much more likely to end up with a low individual income than black women, white women, and white men.
Community Matters
We want to inspire others to dream more, learn more and become more. Together, we can build an inclusive economy in which entrepreneurs from all backgrounds have a fair chance at building and developing their companies. Join our mailing list to receive announcements about our community efforts as they become available.
